As much as anyone hates to openly admit it . . . BABY BOOMERS ARE BEING IGNORED and cast aside as if they're second class citizens!
Employment, for example, has been disastrous for many, and the younger generation are feeling the heat by receiving low wages, competing with out-of-country born residents, and worse, a myriad of college graduates have to settle for job positions paying much less than a decade or more ago that doesn't come close to what they owe in student loans. The sad part about this scenario is that this has been planned for years long before our current Commander in Chief became a presidential fixture in the White House.
The new senior citizen generation seems to start at the age of 50! You can thank AARP for that crap. Since when is anyone consider over-the-hill at age 50? The truth of the matter is that it has been designed to condition and brainwash folks into believing that Boomers have no intrinsic value in a society that is becoming technologically advancing on a daily basis. The fact of presuming that Boomers do not have the capacity to learn and grasp what's going on in this technological age is downright insulting, to say the least.
And as a result of this national insult, the focus on the younger generation with the help of President Obama has taken the spotlight, but only for a minute. The reason for this brief ray of sunshine is because of the dumbing down in public and private schools. Unfortunately, many of these educational institutions are not hiring efficient educators to teach advancing methods relating to technology, such as computers, solar energy, and so forth.
Instead, some of us are led to believe that if our youths pursue their endeavors with firm hard work, such rewards are awaiting them as soon as they graduate from college. However, this antiquated belief no longer fits the bill in the 21st Century.
But back to the Boomers. For some, most baby boomers who were born in the 50s, for example, are now finding themselves to do well depending on where they live, what type of job they had, and how much they will receive once they reach the age of 62, or 65. It's a numbers game. It's all about the how and when with the numbers.
Therefore the question remains: When is your number coming up? Where will you live when your number is up? What I mean by "number is up" is how much do you expect to live-off when you do decide to retire? More importantly, can you afford to retire at age 62, or 65? In some cases, age 70 to 75 is the new retirement age for the younger generation to look forward to in their lives. All of this has been designed for the American people to fail. Plain and simple.
The bottom line is apparently clear to me. In order for anyone to share a piece of financial comfort before, during, and after reaching retirement age, he or she must begin to join forces with multiple amount of folks who share the same vision of leveling their marketing strategies in a creative innovative, yet positive way. What do I mean? The more you give, the more you'll get! I'll say it again: THE MORE YOU GIVE, THE MORE YOU'LL GET!
Sadly, the more I say this, the less anyone actually believes it! That's how screwed up we are in a society that has literally spoon-fed us with an American dream that soured as soon as we reached puberty! But no more! In fact, there are a few folks who've may not have gotten this far reading this blog. Somehow reading a book, or a blog, has become too damn tedious for some. So the act of dumbing down reading material is consider to be a no-no, and have now resulted in using a Kindle to attract readership bundled up with niceties and ribbons.
Take pride in yourself by seriously thinking about operating your own home base business that does not insult your intelligence, but at the same time give you the opportunity to provide a service to many, so that they, too, can achieve betterment in quality of life.
